REPOST FROM NOVEMBER 8, 2025

REPOSTING FROM MY FACEBOOK PAGE DATED NOVEMBER 8, 2025

I had some repairs done to my kitchen cabinets this week. I had to take everything out so the men could make the repairs. The paint is dry so this morning I've put things back in the cabinets. This time, at least for the time being, things are organized. I feel like I've accomplished something important. The problem is, I'm not a good housekeeper. There's still dog hair everywhere, and dust, and who knows what is under the couch. I was thinking that I feel like I have accomplished more, am happier, when things that people can't see are organized and clean, but can go about my day unstressed by dog hair and dust. What's on the inside is more important. Then I thought, "Duh!" That's so true for our relationship with God. He isn't concerned about what we look like to others. He's concerned about what's in our hearts, the things about us that only He knows.

Psalm 51:10

Holman Christian Standard Bible

10 God, create a clean heart for me

and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
