This week in Sunday School, I made a comment that when we are not in God's Word, we are an easy target for the devil. This morning in my quiet time, the thought occurred to me that when we are reading and studying scripture, and applying in obedience to how God speaks to us through His Word, we become a high value target for the devil. This scripture tells us how we are prepared and protected from those attacks. Not in our own power but through the Power of God, His Precepts, His Armor, His Truth, His Peace, His Salvation, His Word and prayer.
