POSTING TO BOTH BLOG AND FACEBOOK
I have been lazy about posting to both my Facebook page and my blog. I posted this on the Facebook page a few days ago. An internet search using AI yields a lot more information about me than I realized. It lists the blog, so I started thinking that some people may read the blog but don't have Facebook. If you scroll down, you will notice that I have reposted several things from Facebook to the blog. I think I am caught up now, so this is the post that made me realize I should try to post to both social media and blog.

I did something fun but also kind of vain today. I Googled myself to see what AI says about me. It was interesting. It made me think that some of you may see my posts but have no idea about who I am, so I decided to share what AI thinks about me.

FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD AND OTHERS
"Fellowship with God and Others" is a Christian Bible study book written by Mary Lynne Webb that examines how the Old Testament law points directly to Jesus Christ.
Core Themes & Overview
Old Testament Connections: The study demonstrates that God expected the same characteristics, faith, and attitudes from Old Testament believers as He does from modern Christians.
The Holy Spirit's Role: It emphasizes that believers can only embody these godly attitudes by yielding to the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit.
Community and Fellowship: When the Spirit works within individuals, it creates a shared fellowship. The book encourages believers to interact with humility, compassion, and generosity, serving and worshipping together for God's glory.
Grace and Imperfection: Webb highlights that the church is not a body of perfect people, but rather a community of forgiven people who continue to navigate human sin through faith and grace.
Fellowship with God and Others by Mary Lynne Webb is a 272-page Bible study that traces God's redemptive plan from the very beginning through the lens of both the Old and New Testaments. Here's an overview:
•God's Eternal Plan: Before creation, God foreknew humanity's fall and planned for Jesus to live a sinless life, die sacrificially for sin, and rise again — so we could be forgiven and restored to fellowship with Him.
•The Role of the Law: The Levitical Law given to Moses was never meant to save us, but to reveal our sin and point us to Jesus. Salvation comes by grace through faith, not by our own goodness.
•The Work of the Spirit: True righteousness is impossible in our own strength — it comes only by yielding to the Holy Spirit's sanctifying work within us.
•Fellowship with Believers: When God works in us, we are drawn into a shared community with other believers, called to interact with humility, compassion, and generosity.
•Purpose of the Church: The church is not a body of perfect people — only forgiven ones. Together, believers are called to worship, serve, love one another as God loves, and share the testimony of Jesus Christ.
•Practical Church Issues: The study also addresses false teaching, serving with a united purpose, and navigating disagreements and conflicts within the body of believers.
It's a rich study for anyone wanting to deepen their understanding of God's redemptive plan and what it means to live in genuine fellowship — both with God and with others.
LIVING WITH PURPOSE IN JESUS
Focus: The book serves as a Christian study and devotional guide focused on applying the biblical teachings of Philippians Chapter 1 to daily life.
Themes: It explores how believers can live a life filled with spiritual purpose, remain devoted to God, and navigate challenges through faith in Jesus Christ.
Living with Purpose in Jesus: Applying Philippians Chapter 1 by Mary Lynne Webb is a 396-page verse-by-verse Bible study guide through Philippians Chapter 1.Here's an overview of what the book covers:
•Verse-by-Verse Study: Each verse of Philippians Chapter 1 is carefully examined in depth, drawing out the meaning and application for everyday Christian life.
•Cross-References: The study weaves in references to other scriptures that expand on and explain the themes found in each verse.
•Personal Experience: The author blends real-life examples and personal testimony to make the Scripture relatable and practical.
•Purpose-Driven Faith: Rooted in Paul's letter to the Philippians, the book explores what it means to live with intentionality, joy, and purpose in your walk with Christ — even amid hardship.
•Practical Application: The focus is not just on understanding the text, but on applying it to daily life as a follower of Jesus.
It's a rich study for personal devotion or group Bible study, well-suited for anyone wanting to go deeper into Philippians and live with greater purpose in their faith journey.
WHOLEHEARTED: LIVING A LIFE DEVOTED TO GOD
Wholehearted: Living a Life Devoted to God as Outlined in Colossians 1 by Mary Lynne Webb is a 207-page Christian devotional and Bible study guide centered on the book of Colossians 1.Here's a summary of its key themes:
•Wholehearted Commitment: The core message is that God desires our full devotion — not out of control or selfishness, but because He is all-knowing and all-loving, wanting what is truly best for us.
•Salvation and Transformation: It explores how accepting Christ's gift of salvation — His payment for our sin — transforms us into new creatures indwelled by the Holy Spirit.
•Daily Walk of Faith: Rather than a one-time event, the book frames Christian faith as an ongoing journey of moment-by-moment commitment to God.
•Spiritual Growth: Through Scripture study, fellowship, teaching, and even trials, God shapes believers to become more like Him over time.
•The Fruit of the Spirit: As believers yield to God's work, the fruit of His Spirit — joy, peace, love, faith, and encouragement — become increasingly evident in their lives and as a testimony to others.
Community and Scripture: The book invites readers to explore Scripture together and share experiences to grow in their relationship with God.
It's a warm, devotional journey through Colossians 1, suitable for personal reflection or group Bible study.
