Mary Lynne: I love to study God’s Word. I was saved when I was 8 years old. A year later at a children's camp, I felt like God was calling me to some ministry. I dated and married an unbeliever. I believe I married the right person but at the wrong time. He was saved 3 months after we were married. Later when we were part of an in-depth Bible study group, we both began to pray that God would reveal His purpose for us. Once again, I felt the call to ministry, but my husband didn’t seem to be hearing the same call. One day he came home and told me that he knew that God was calling him to preach. Neither of us ever doubted that call. I also believe that God chose a career for me as a speech language pathologist. As my husband became increasingly ill, I retired from my job to care for him. He died 10 days after I retired. I had written some before, even had a blog that a few people read occasionally, but after my husband died, I was confused because I absolutely know that God called me to the ministry as well. I am seeking where I am to serve now. Maybe it is through writing and blogging. Pray with me for God's guidance.
